Turning 65? Start Medicare the right way
New to Medicare? Learn your Initial Enrollment Period and your options. Independent agent serving Central Florida and The Villages community.
The basics
Seven-month window
Your Initial Enrollment Period begins three months before your 65th birthday month and ends three months after.
Still working?
If you have employer coverage, timing rules differ. Ask before you drop it — the right move depends on your employer's size and plan.
Late penalties
Missing your Part B or Part D deadline without other creditable coverage can raise your premium for as long as you have Medicare.
Common questions
Do I need to do anything if I already get Social Security?
Many people are enrolled in Part A and Part B automatically if they're already receiving Social Security benefits. If you're not, you'll need to sign up yourself — I can walk you through it.
Should I get a Medicare Advantage or Supplement plan first?
There's no single right answer. It depends on your doctors, health, budget and how you like to use care. We'll go through it together before you choose.
No cost, no obligation
Request a Medicare review
I'll contact you by phone or email to schedule a time that works for you — usually within one business day.
