Medicare Supplement (Medigap) for residents of The Villages
Learn how Medigap plans work with Original Medicare and how to compare them. Independent Medicare agent in Central Florida.
How Medigap works
Works with Original Medicare
Medigap helps pay some out-of-pocket costs, like deductibles and coinsurance, left behind by Original Medicare.
Standardized plans
Plans are labeled by letter (such as G or N). Benefits for a given letter are the same across companies, but prices are not.
Timing matters
Your Medigap open enrollment starts when you're 65 and enrolled in Part B. After that six-month window, health questions may apply.
What I'll do
Compare prices
Same plan letter, very different monthly rates between companies. I show you the range.
Pair with Part D
Medigap doesn't include drug coverage, so we add a standalone Part D plan alongside it.
Check your dates
I confirm your enrollment windows before you decide, so you don't face medical underwriting unexpectedly.
Common questions
Can I still get Plan F?
Only if you became eligible for Medicare before January 1, 2020. If you turned 65 or enrolled on or after that date, Plans C and F aren't available to you, but Plan G offers very similar coverage.
Can I switch Medigap plans later?
Yes, but outside your initial open enrollment window a new company can usually ask health questions and could decline coverage or charge more, depending on the state and plan.
No cost, no obligation
Request a Medicare review
I'll contact you by phone or email to schedule a time that works for you — usually within one business day.
